The George Washington University Jazz Orchestra // Guitarist
GWJO is the premier student jazz ensemble at the George Washington University. GWJO has performed for various audiences at diverse venues across GW's Foggy Bottom Campus and the greater DMV area including Blues Alley, Twins Jazz Club, Songbyrd Record Cafe, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. GWJO has worked with various organizations such as the GW Department of Music, the American Museum of Peace, Honor Flights DC, the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts & Culture, and the Villanova and Mid-Atlantic jazz festivals. Zach is the guitarist and Director of Membership for the band.
Tema Siegel is a student Chicago College of Performing Arts. Siegel is a fantastic singer/songwriter, saxophonist, and jazz vocalist. She released her debut EP, "I Didn't Come Here to Hang" in early 2018. Zach and Tema began their musical partnership in the summer of 2018, playing a number of concerts around Boston and recording a series of songs, which they plan to release in 2019, some of which will be with the COUCH.
